From the very good 2004 vintage this red wine is a dense ruby/purple colour and has good opulence and richness. Drink now - 2013. This vintage wine is shipped in a wooden silk lined wooden presentation box.
Aged in the famous cellars of Ogier Caves de Fournalet in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine is dark ruby with a complex nose of spices and hints of pear. A smooth and lingering finish, enjoy this with richly flavoured dishes, especially meat and game.

Monty Waldin now rents over 4 hectares of vines in the Roussillon from vigneron Eric Laguerre. He spent the first year (2007) nurturing and working 2.2 hectares of vines through to cropping and and making the wine. All this was done following the organic principals that Monty has always espoused. This is his second vintage. Mainly made from old vine Carignan, with 25% Syrah and a touch of Grenache and Maccabeu.
