Beaucastel is home to some of the finest Châteauneufs the region has to offer, made from the fruit of classic, organically-cultivated, cobblestone-strewn vineyards. The Perrin family also own the Rhone estate, Coudoulet, blessed with the same vast range of varities - red and white. This has rich flavours of grapefruit, peaches, pears and vanilla.
A beautiful clear and orange colour states a high quality. Wild peaches are small and grow in the middle of the wineyards in the area around Cognac. Their taste is strong and concentrated.
