The world`s best rum? Ron Zacapa is made in a very unusual proprietary solera system. The rums are aged in a variety of different barrels: sherry, cognac, bourbon and the resulting spirits are blended together. Though it says 23 years old on the label, it is a blend of rums aged between 7 and 23 years. To try it is to be amazed at just how complex rum can be. Truly one of the world?s great spirits.
